An exquisite vintage Burmese Kalaga tapestry Wall Hanging featuring padded figures, elephants and dragons covered in antique gold sequins and couched bullion threads. There are cut glass 'jewels' at four points on the boarder and moonstone like 'jewels' around the central motif. The traditional piece has been mounted on a tapestry effect jacquard fabric and backed with cotton. 109 cm x 72 cmcondition is generally good. There is some minor sequin loss and a couple of missing stitches around the elephants trunk.
