Christopher Dresser attributed, for Dixon. A stylish silver plated and cut glass carafe, c1890, in good condition. The plated mounts of typical form, and the globular glass body heavily cut with horizontal bands of diagonal and vertical slashes. Inside the lid stamped DIXON, the bugle mark, 4706K. Height: 7 inches.
A rare late 17th century marquetry walnut longcase clock, the hood with moulded cornice above 11" square dial set with silvered chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, with detailed pierced corner spandrels and engraved "Chr. Gould Londini, Fecit" with eight day movement flanked by half cut ebonised gilt heightened pilasters above a long marquetry inlaid door centred with a bullseye glass to a plinth base, the inlay centred with an exotic bird amongst detailed floral sprays, height 216cm. Christopher Gould operated in London between 1682 and 1718.
A late 19th century electroplated Corinthian column form oil lamp with cut clear glass reservoir and presentation inscription inscribed "Presented to Major Thomas S Smith by the members of the 7th Highland Cov. QRVBRS on his retiring from the brigade, 20th November 1896", lacking shade and chimney, height 56cm.

A large late Georgian ale glass with conical bowl, double ring necked double knopped stem and circular foot, height 19.5cm, a similar smaller ale glass, height 16.5cm, a third glass with conical bowl with half facet cut decoration to octagonal column and circular foot, height 12cm, and a further glass with cut decoration single knopped stem and circular foot, height 14.5cm (4).
