Edwardian automobilia,c.1910, a pair of C A Vandervell & Co., model 'L.O' or 'Opera' headlights, the brass cases with concave bevelled sides, to the front with three bevelled glass plates, internally chromed and with a single fitting for a bayonet bulb, to the sides with a copper plaque impressed 'Model 'L.O' C.A.V C.A Vandervell & Co, London' over a multifaceted red cut-glass cabochon, with later wiring and wall brackets,30cm high (2)CAV were an early manufacturer of high-quality automobile and car components of the late Edwardian period. The Opera model in particular was a common sight on Rolls Royce Silver Ghosts from around 1910.Condition ReportWith tarnish to the re deeper recesses. With later wiring for standard mains.
