A 19th century French green glass oil lamp, with wavy frill shade with enamel floral decoration with gilt ribbons above the facet cut reservoir in turn above a polished marble stem with brass capital and square foot. Height excluding chimney 43 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The gilding to the rim of the green glass shade shows signs of rubbing but the majority of it is still there. The enamelling on the shade is still intact. The shade appears to be free from any obvious faults. The interior diameter of the base of the shade is 4 cm. The base of the chimney has a couple of small flea bite chips on the rim. The green glass shade has no obvious post production chips or cracks visible. There are a dozen or so vertical lines on the mount holding directly beneath the green glass reservoir this maybe caused by pliers to loosen this part? The metals are dull in colour but there are no obvious faults visible. The column looks to have a small fingernail size repair patch in the middle however this could be contemporary with the piece.
A pair of 19th century cylindrical glass decanters, with hollow stoppers with etched foliate decoration above a faceted shoulder, the main body with wheel etched leaf and fern decoration with star cut base, together with six Stuart cut hock glasses, the decanters 27 cm high, glasses 16.7 cm. CONDITION REPORT: One decanter has a small fingernail sized blister to the neck and some small nibbles around the rim. The other decanter has small flea bite nibbles around the rim but these are not visible to the naked eye. Other than that the decanters appear to be in good decorative order and free from any further notable chips or cracks. All glasses are in good order.
A set of six Moser attributed wine glasses, late 19th/early 20th century, the rim with etched bacchanalian scene of figures dancing and in chariots pulled by goats, heightened with gilding above fine strawberry cut and oval lozenge body upon a faceted stem and wide circular foot. Height 16.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Three glasses appear to be free from any faults. One glass has a 7 mm fine chip to the foot rim and a small chip to the top rim. A further glass has a tiny chip to the top rim but the foot rim is free from any flaws. One glass has a small chip to the underside of the foot rim and the uppermost rim appears free from any flaws. The gilded decoration and glass bodies and stems all appear to be free from any obvious faults.
A cut glass claret jug with silver plated mount by Dixon and Sons, together with a set of six Bohemian sherry glasses with green flash bowl with cut decoration upon a tapering stem. 22 cm and 16.5 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: All items appear to be in good order with no obvious chips, cracks, faults or restorations visible.
A Victorian silver plated column oil lamp, late 19th century, having an etched glass shade above the facet cut clear reservoir in turn above a column with Corinthian capital and reeded stem upon a square stepped foot. Height including chimney 85 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are tiny flea bite nibbles around the base rim of the shade. The chimney has a small rim chip. The glass reservoir appears to be in good order. The column has lost its silver plate. There is an 8 mm x 4 mm triangle missing from the bottom corner of the base rim.
A pair of George V silver mounted and cut glass mallet shape decanters, the mounts by Barker Brothers Silver Limited, Birmingham 1929, each with faceted stopper. Height 32.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The base of one stopper has a very small chip, otherwise both stoppers appear to be in good order with no obvious chips. The rim of one silver mount has a small dent, otherwise the silver on both appears to be in good order. Both hallmarks are rubbed but just about legible. The glass bodies are in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or signs of restoration. Both decanters have very light surface scratches on the underside when viewed issuing a jeweller's loupe. In short an attractive pair of decanters.
A George V silver and cut glass mounted scent bottle, J H Worrall, Son & Co Ltd, London 1914, the hinged lid revealing a stopper and decorated with embossed flowers and foliate scrolls above the tapering cut glass body leading to a faceted circular foot. 16.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Using a magnifying glass one can see some minor dints and scratches to the silver but nothing too significant or detrimental. The glass body appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or repairs.
A cut glass and silver plated claret jug, early 20th century, the lid with lion rampant holding a shield above the face mask spout and sea scroll and trellis decorated neck, all above an inverted tapering cut glass body. 32 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The plated mounts have slight surface scratches. The glassware appears to be in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or signs of restoration.
Two cut glass and silver mounted scent bottles, Birmingham 1904 and 1996, each with interior stopper, 11.5 cm and 10 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: On the large of the two scent bottles the silver is generally in good order throughout however there are a couple of very small holes within the lid. There are some very small bruises to the glass body but nothing too significant or visible with the naked eye. The smaller scent bottle has no obvious faults. The silver and glass both appear to be in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or signs of restoration.
A George III silver cream jug, Duncan Urquhart and Naphtali Hart, London 1803, with bright cut decorated bands and threaded rim and handle. 9 cm high, 87.3 grams. CONDITION REPORT: There is a shield shaped cartouche beneath the spout with initials GHB. To the right of the cartouche is a small dent to the body. The makers marks are slightly rubbed but the other assay marks are clear. There is a possibility that the handle may have been repaired but otherwise the remainder of the body appears to have no obvious signs of restoration. Using a magnifying glass one can see a 1 cm fine scratch to the right-hand side where the bottom of the handle joins the body. The seam mark at the rear of the body is visible. The silver is a good gauge throughout.

A Victorian classical revival cast brass oil lamp, having an etched and cut glass clear shade upon a Hinks and Son patent burner, with cranberry glass reservoir, the top with cast foliate pierced decoration seated within a square form basket with cast lyres and flowers to each side, the pierced square tapering column upon a raised square base with Putti headed terms, all upon short bracket feet. Overall height 63 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The shade has very tiny nibbles around the interior rim on both the top and bottom but not so big that they are instantly notable. The Cranberry glass reservoir is in good order with no notable chips or cracks, it currently still houses liquid. The cast body is in good order throughout and there are generous amounts of dried metal cleaning polish residue within the crevasses.
