An Edward VII Silver Inkstand, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, London 1902, the rectangular base with four volute feet, profusely pierced sides with shaped top, with pierced divisions for two cut glass inkwells with silver hinged covers, 23cm wide, 16oz 4dwt One foot slightly bent. Fully marked. One nut missing from base, minor nibbles to glass, overall good.
A Victorian Silver Inkstand, Daniel & John Wellby, London 1895, the rectangular base with a gadrooned border and two pen trays, raised on four pierced bracket feet, with two cut glass inkwells with hinged silver covers, each engraved with a crest and motto, with a central square wafer box mounted with a taperstick in the form of a miniature chamberstick with removable nozzle, 28cm wide, 32oz 8dwt The crest and motto are probably that of George Charles Kent, being a lion's head erased, erminois, collared, and the motto Virtute et honore Fully marked, clear marks, no obvious damage, the crests worn, engraved to the pen tray Herbert Oct 1895 (worn)
A Victorian Silver Inkstand, Robinson, Edkins & Aston, Birmingham 1837, the shaped base with rococo style shell and scroll border and two upturned handles, mounted with two cut glass inkwell with silver covers and a central fluted wafer box mounted with a taperstick in the form of a miniature chamberstick, complete with snuffer, engraved Presented by Edward King Tenison Esq, To the Honble [sic] and Revd Edward Moore, 28th Nov 1858, 32cm wide, 20ozt Fully marked. Glass with a few minor small chips. Silver border with a few small holes where it has been enthusiastically cleaned. Ovverall in good condition
A George III Silver Cruet Frame, Paul Storr, London 1809, boat shaped with applied border and acanthus capped volute grips over four similar feet, the reeded wirework frame with divisions for eight silver mounted cut glass items comprising oil and vinegar with hinged lids, loop handles, four double lipped jars with stoppers and two mustards with lift-off covers and associated spoons, 40cm wide, the base 49ozt Marked to underside of base and frame. The bottles all Storr but various dates: oil/vinegar 1810 and 1811, the mustards 1808 and 1809, four small bottles, two worn, 1803 and 1809. Some small nibbles to the hobnail parts of glass bottles from being placed in and out of the frame- see images. Oil bottle with loose mout and small crease to part of the mount. Crisp marks to base.

A scarce Hukin & Heath Art Deco silver mounted lockable decanter the cut glass decanter of oversized scent bottle form, with bevelled edges and slightly sloped shoulders, with diamond and kite cut facetted stopper with silver mount and hinged clasp, the decanter neck with silver collar with lock, by Hukin & Heath, Birmingham 1927, 12¼in. (31cm.) high, with key, base of stopper with repaired chip.
A fine quality early 19th century inlaid rosewood writing slope or lap desk the brass bound slope banded in tulipwood and with a marquetry inlaid geometric motif to the lid, the sides with rebated brass handles, one side with a concealed drawer, the interior with two cut glass inkwells and a drop-down stationary file to the lid with applied toothed border and centred by an inlaid initialled tablet, the slope veneered with a marquetry panel and cross banded in satinwood, opening to reveal a blue velvet writing surface and inlaid Greek key border, 18 x 10in. (45.5 x 25,5cm.), 8½in. (21.5cm.) high.
