An Art Deco cut glass and silver mounted decanter, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, London 1937, the body of tapering rectangular form with stepped shoulders, plain polished silver mount, faceted stopper, 27cm high (at fault)CR; Some small chips and nibbles to the edges and corners of the body. Scratching and wear throughout, mostly concentrated to the base. No large fractures of losses. Silver mount in good order, no splits, major thinning or repair. Some minor denting, general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. 2cm long area of chipping to the glass inside of the collar, as well as general nibbling to the edge (see pictures). Several chips and losses to the bottom stopper (see pictures).  The head of the stopper is in good order, no major cracks, chips or losses. Light scratching and wear only.
