Victorian Etruscan Revival cabochon garnet and diamond necklace, the three pendant drops each centred with a circular cabochon garnet mounted with rose cut diamond stars, the yellow metal mounts with locket backs and articulated tassels, on chain-link necklace, 44cm long CONDITION REPORT Victorian, circa 1870 - 1880. Total gross weight approximately 72.3 grams. Not hallmarked, probably 9 or 15ct gold, although described as yellow metal and therefore sold as yellow metal. Very good condition. No damage to the metal or gemstones. The glass to one of the locket backs is cracked but no other obvious faults. The metal has some discolouration, more noticeably to the chain and a few of the tassles. Minor wear / faults commensurate with age. Side pendants ( x 2) horizontally (outer edge to edge) approx 27mm. Length including tassel drops 46mm approx. Central pendant- horizontally (outer edge to edge) approx 32mm, Length including tassel drops 56mm approx
Good Victorian cut glass oil lamp with etched and cut glass globular shade and hemispherical glass reservoir, on faceted column and conforming foot with brass mounts, raised on projecting paw feet, 70cm high CONDITION REPORT Some slight movement (wobbles) in the column, some minor chips / nibbles to decoration on glass, burner has a bayonet lamp fitting in it, part of the grille under the burner has been cut to allow an electric flex to exit, no flex present, burner stamped 'Hinks & Sons Patent'.
