CONDITION REPORT overall good but used condition, ticks when wound, some scratches to the case form previous attempts at opening, good clasp on both the front and back cases, white enamel dial appears to be in fairly good order with no obvious chips or cracks
A George III mahogany serpentine front chest of four drawers, raised on bracket feet, 76 x 103 x 59cm (af). CONDITION REPORT Although this is a very pleasing piece there are areas of wear, most notably the dividers between the drawer and the sides on the front , there are several areas of veneer missing further splits to the drawer front and minor losses etc, there is a later piece of cut glass applied to the top and below the glass there is visible areas of fading staining, scuffs, scrapes etc.
