A pair of George V silver mounted glass bitters pourers by Hukin and Heath. The silver mounts upon a cut glass vessel, of globular form, hallmarked Birmingham 1924, together with an 'Angostura' and 'Orange' silver decanter label, 13.5cm high Condition Report: The decanter labels are both stamped 'sterling' to reverse. One of the stoppers does not currently come out of the glass bottle. Small chips, wear and surface marks visible in places on both of the glass bottle, commensurate with age and previous use. Silver mounts appear to be in good condition, with no obvious signs of major damage or repair.
A fine and early Pioneer motoring era specially commissioned leather-cased travelling tea-set for two persons by Walter Thornhill & Co. of 144 & 145 New Bond St. London, circa 1893,the brown honey leather case with leather handle and brass clamps to lid with impressed initials 'A.L.', opening to light grey suede-lined compartmentalised interior fitted with silver plated kettle, engraved 'A.L.', with black African hardwood handle, containing sugar bowl, with burner and folding tripod stand, with silver-plated tea-caddy, engraved A.L.', containing two stacked drinking beakers suede cushion pad, and tea infuser with suspension chain, with one large and two smaller heavy cut-glass drinks bottles with sterling silver lids by Hubert Thornhill, hallmarked London 1893, each also with engraved initials 'A.L.', and with two bone chine tea-cups housed in black leather stand, with bone china saucers and two silver-plated tea-spoons housed behind suede straps in the lid, several pieces bearing Thornhill maker's markings, the case with silver gilt maker's marks to front edge and incorporating high-quality Bramah lock with key, the case measuring 28 x 21 x 16cm, in seemingly good order throughout. A fine, large and impressive running-board mounting picnic set for six persons, by Asprey of London, 1922,believed a special commission, the black leather-cloth case with nickelled handles, locks and catches, the lid with nickelled surround and tread surface, the lid opening to reveal interior with lift-out wicker framework with handles, fitted with fine picnic accessories including a wicker-handled kettle with burner and spirit flask, two large wicker-covered glass drinks bottles with stoppers, another large cut glass bottle with sterling silver cap and neck by Asprey & Co., hallmarked Birmingham 1922, and further marked 'Asprey London', a set of four matching cut glass bottles with silver plated caps, two Coracle Brand square ceramic based food containers with nickel-plated lids, two other food tins with catches, a set of six fine Mintons gilt-handled bone china tea-cups, a set of six stacked large gilt-lined nickel-plated beakers and containing leather case containing six further smaller gilt-lined drinking tots, all marked 'Asprey & Co' and 'Asprey London' under the bases, a set of eight gilt-edged enamel rectangular plates, three other plated metal containers, two fitted with glass liners, and two condiments jars, the inside of the lid fitted with set of six matching saucer-plates, with full complement of cutlery including carving set, and Asprey patented bottle opener with integral folding corkscrew within the handle, all housed behind brown leather straps, the case measuring 92 x 33 x 22cm, each end of the case with nickelled and brass patented adjustable catches, marked 'Finnigans Ltd' for running board mounting, offered with key.
