The smallest spirit decanter has minor abrasions around the rim. The stopper has a small blister formed from a burst air pocket. The three ring decanter has a stopper with small rim chips and the rim of the decanter itself has a small chip. Otherwise there are no further faults to that decanter. The globe and shaft decanter with the faceted neck has small chips to the base of the stopper. The glass to the body is slightly cloudy most likely due to calcium deposits from cleaning. Otherwise there are no obvious faults. The decanter with the faceted neck appears to be in good order throughout.

CONDITION REPORT: It is stamped to the side of the handle just above the lock with a crown above Betjemann's Patent 40238 London. The silver plate has worn from all the metalwork. The opposing side of the handle is stamped with a crown above the tantalus. The woodwork appears to be in good condition throughout. Two of the decanters are matching whilst one is very close, differing in pattern and slightly smaller. Of the matching decanters, one stopper has numerous chips to its base. The decanters themselves have only very minor chips to the base but appear to be in good order otherwise. The non-matching decanter has chips around the rim and also around the rim of the stopper.
