A RUBY AND DIAMOND SET BRACELET WATCH BY DELANEAU FOR KUTCHINSKY, the circular dial pavé set with single-cut diamonds, to a circular convex case and shaped panel shoulders, pavé set throughout with graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut rubies, (rubies untested for natural/synthetic origin), on a fancy brick-link bracelet, the glass and case signed DeLaneau, the case also signed Kutchinsky and numbered 'L397 1684', with 18ct gold convention mark, the bracelet stamped 'MM 750', with inscription to clasp dated '23-7-89', total diamond weight approximately 0.75ct, case width 2.05cm Condtion report: Dial - good, crystal - good but with slight losses to the L and A of Delaneau signature, case - good, movement - not currently working, bracelet – good. Rubies are untested for natural/synthetic origin, most have light surface wear with occasional chips and scuffs. Diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, with estimated VS1 to SI1 clarity and H to J colour, assessed mounted. Approx. gross weight approx. 26.6gms. The movement has not been tested and working order cannot be guaranteed.
A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER INKSTAND, with shaped and pierced decorated three quarter gallery, fitted with two square section cut glass inkwells and a pen recess, on scroll feet, by Frederick Elkington, London 1889, 19.5cm wide, 13.5oz, together with a silver quill pen Condition report: inkstand good overall, has engraved initials M.C.W 1923-1948. One of the glass inkwells is badly damaged to lower left front corner, and both have further small chips and nibbles to the glass. Pen has several dings.
