Tarnishing and discolouration to the gilding as expected, with small bruises to the shell liners. Nozzles are currently loose but this is likely due to construction in house.

A Victorian crested silver tantalus of barrel & stillage form, the three horizontally placed cut glass spirit barrels each havi\ng silver stopper finials fashioned as Viscount's coronets, the taps to the front of each barrel having two silver keys fashioned as coronets (one key missing), the plain stillage frame hinged for tilting, engraved to four ends with a coronet above a monogram and fitted with 12 associated continental silver cups of tapering form, each bearing an engraved monogram matching those appearing on the stillage frame - RHWL, London 1865, overall height 9.75", overall width 13.75". There is an area of damage to the central glass barrel, front lower section.
