SUPERMAN III (1983) - Framed Production-Made Evil Superman (Christopher Reeve) Corriere Della Sera Newspaper Cover - A framed Corriere Della Sera newspaper cover featuring Evil Superman (Christopher Reeve) from the production of Richard Lester's Superman III. After Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) exposed him to tar-laced Kryptonite, Superman committed crimes around the world, including straightening the Leaning Tower of Pisa.This black-and-white Corriere Della Sera newspaper cover dated "12 Maggio 1982" and featuring a picture of Evil Superman alongside a straightened version of the tower was created by production for the sequence but ultimately unseen in the final cut. Italian-language filler text and headlines are printed throughout. The cover comes mounted behind glass in a custom blue plastic frame. It exhibits yellowing and staining throughout from production and age. BEACHES (1988) - CC Bloom's (Bette Midler) Production-Made Framed Photograph - CC Bloom's (Bette Midler) production-made framed photograph from Garry Marshall's Beaches. Bloom married, then divorced, John Pierce (John Heard), taking her photograph of their time together from New York to San Francisco to care for her childhood friend Hillary Whitney (Barbara Hershey). This photo is ultimately unseen in the final cut. This lot consists of a color-printed photograph of Bloom and Pierce drinking mounted behind glass in a leatherette-backed gold-color painted wooden Hollywood Studio Gallery frame. The photograph is intentionally aged and sepia-toned by production; the frame is hand-marked "CT 5096 RRT" on the reverse; and the glass exhibits cracking and should be handled with caution. AMOS & ANDREW (1993) - Samuel L. Jackson-Autographed Framed "Andrew Sterling" GQ Cover Display with Production-Made Andrew Sterling ID - A framed "Andrew Sterling" GQ cover display autographed by Samuel L. Jackson with a production-made Andrew Sterling (Jackson) ID from the production of E. Max Frye's Amos & Andrew. Acclaimed playwright Sterling appeared on the cover of GQ in promotional materials for the film. This lot remains ultimately unseen in the final cut. This lot consists of a color-printed copy of a GQ magazine cover featuring Sterling, signed in black ink by Jackson, and mounted behind glass in a custom mahogany-shaded wooden frame, as well as a plastic-laminated New York State ID signed "Andrew Sterling" next to a picture of Sterling and below Sterling's biographical details. The image on the GQ cover print-out was designed by production, though a different version was ultimately used to promote the film, while the ID was made by production but ultimately unseen in the final cut. The glass exhibits scratching and the wood exhibits minor nicks.
