A Victorian silver mounted claret jug Fenton Brothers Ltd, Sheffield 1898, the silver mount floral and foliate chased with mask spout and urn finial to the hinged cover, initialled and dated '1874-1899' above a cut glass body and star cut base, 29cm high CONDITION REPORT: Marks slightly rubbed but still clear and legible, cartouche to one side of the neck initialled in italics 'SJM'? and to the other side '1874-1899', cover does not sit quite flush to the body, hinge a little wobbly. Some very minor surface scratching and wear. Some very minor nibbling to the surface and high points of the glass, no cracks evident.
A white metal dress ring. Centrally set with an oval faceted cut ruby (evidence of treatment by way of glass filling). Further set with graduated calibre cut rubies and single cut diamonds. Estimated total weight of Rubies 3.48 carats. Estimated total diamond weight 0.59 carats. Tests indicate Platinum. Size M 5.2 grams
A pair of 19th Century cut glass mallet shaped decanters and stoppers, a pair of modern decanters etched with "pheasant and grouse", two further decanters, three jugs and two cut glass jars and covers CONDITION REPORTS The pair of 19th Century mallet shaped decanters both have numerous surface scratches, accretions, clouding to the inside, numerous small chips to the shoulders of both decanters and numerous small chips to the base of both. One of the decanters does have a large chip to the base. One of the stoppers has an area of loss. The two modern decanters with pheasant and grouse both have light surface scratches, accretions, scuffs etc. There is some staining to the inside of both decanters. The other mallet shaped decanter has numerous surface scratches, some clouding to the inside, a small chip to the rim, chips to the base of the stopper, accretions, etc. The two 19th Century mallet shaped decanters both measure 27 cm approx in height. The decanters with the pheasant and grouse both measure 36 cm in height approx. The further two decanters measure 32.5 cm approx and 24.5 cm approx. All have wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.

Foxing throughout, insects trapped beneath the glass and possibly stuck on the paper. Has been cut to the edges and visible within the glass. Some fading to the bottom line of writing. Some areas of discolouration, foxing etc throughout. visible image measures approx 36 cm x 454 cm and including frame approx 55.5 cm x 60.5 cm.
