A pair of Victorian brass candle lustres, the reeded sockets with fruit embossed drip pans, the cut glass drops on wild rose supports, raised on a fruit decorated knop stem to stepped circular foot, 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Significantly out of circular. Knocks and bumps, damaged to the top. All over small scratches. Metal tarnished. Bases with some dents and knocks also. Second candlestick - some knocks to the top, not overly out of circular. Some general wear and tear all over, light scratches, tarnished metal, knocks to the base and is out of circular. Both with general wear and tear.
A pair of 19th Century patinated bronze and brass candle lustres in the Empire taste, the foliate decorated sockets with flower head design drip pan, the cut glass drops on flower head supports, raised on a pedestal with scrolling harebell and bird decoration, raised on a lotus leaf decorated rectangular stepped base, 27.3 cm CONDITION REPORTS Basically appear in sound condition. All glass drops extant but some with chips and scuff marks to the extremeties and where the glass is attached to the metalwork, one drip tray with hole right through (see image), possibly part of original casting. Otherwise in reasonable condition.
