A Near Set of Five Silver Mounted Glass Whisky Tots, three J & J Maxfield, Birmingham 1905/06, two S Blackensee & Son, Birmingham 1932, with hinged cover, the plain tapering body with star cut base, 9.5cm high (5)The three earlier exampels are very slightly taller. One example lacking thumb piece to the cover, a crack and associated chip to upper terminal of handle. Another example with a hairline to the upper junction of handle in the same spot. Most covers with small dings or slightly mis-shapen. Marks mostly clear.
