Klaftenberger, 157 Regent Street, Case numbered.1452 The rippled handle over a large bevelled glass inspection panel and repeat button over four bevelled glass panels on a raised base, the signed rectangular white enamel Roman dial with blued-steel Breguet style hands over a subsidiary alarm dial, the lever platform escapement with cut and compensated bimetallic balance, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the alarm struck by a smaller hammer. The twin train movement with lever platform escapement with cut and compensated bi-metallic balance, striking on a pair of two blued-steel coiled gongs on two hammers. Ticking and striking.
