A George IV rosewood tea caddy in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid enclosing two canisters and a cut glass mixing bowl, the front modelled to resemble a pillar side board, on gadrooned bun feet, the lock with crowed GR initials, 23cm H x 34.5cm W x 21cm D CONDITION REPORT: Slight sun fading to the front and the left hand side, the other two sides a better colour. Very light age wear patina, very small knock to back left corner of base and a few small knocks. Internally with three slight hair line cracks to the underside of the lid. Internal lining to the canisters perished - as always. Overall good.
A late 19th century carved oak tantalus, with brass handle and three cut glass decanters and stoppers, 34cm wide, 30cm high CONDITION REPORT: No key and locked so it cannot be opened to examine the decanters. Plated surface has rubbed back to the brass. Wood surface lightly rubbed but overall ok
A Victorian carved oak tantalus, with three cut glass decanters and stoppers with hinged gaming card / counter box to front, above a spring door, 31.5cm H x 33cm W (veneer at fault to left hand side of base) CONDITION REPORT: The veneer to the left hand side of the base is lifting. Veneer to the base at the back is dry. General light age wear patina to wood, metal mounts with some tarnishing. Decanters with some small nibbles and chips.
