A large and unusual early-20th century hand-cut lockable decanter; hallmarked silver mounts and lock, the faceted silver collar stopper above circular neck and lock assayed Birmingham 1924 and maker's mark H&H (probably for Hukin & Heath); total height 30cm (together with key) CONDITION REPORT: PLEASE NOTE A SMALL INTERIOR GLASS CRACK HAS BEEN NOTED TO THE INSIDE OF THE NECK BEHIND THE LOCK, PLEASE SEE CLOSE UP IMAGE. There is a slight and very small dent to the side of the side of the silver collar on the decanter, there is also a couple of very small pin head size dents left and right of the lock. There is a small indentation to the silver collar on the left hand side of the stopper. See images. The glass is in good order with no problems. A large and heavy cut glass vase of inverted conical form, raised on a circular foot with star-cut base, 25.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: This is very heavy. The rim appears to be without flaws or fault. The main body looks good with nice deep crisp engraving. The underside also looks good with minor scratching to the edge of the circular foot. Otherwise no problems noted.
A glass group to include a beaker and two wines: the larger wine very finely engraved with fruiting vine and diamond pattern, raised on a circular star cut foot; the smaller wine also very finely engraved with game bird amongst ferns, bracken etc.; the tumbler similarly engraved with fighting cocks amongst sprigs, flowers etc. (the larger wine with small chip to rim and 17cm high) (3) CONDITION REPORT: The first wine goblet with the main lot number on appears generally good overall with two very minor scratches emanating from the outside of the foot for approx. 1 to 2mm each. The larger goblet has a match head sized chip out of the inside of the rim at the top. The main body is cut and engraved well and no problems noted. Some minor scratching again to the underside of the foot, not particularly prevalent. The third which is the central glass beaker appears to be good with a couple of minor scratches to the lower base area and there are some scratching and scuffing underneath the foot rim commensurate with age.

A pair of cut and moulded glass four light wall appliques, modern, the urn sockets on floral drip pans suspending faceted glass beads, on serpentine arms issuing from stylised acanthus bosses, with knopped finials, approximately 56 cm high Please note: the backplates of the wall appliques are stamped for F&C Osler, and the dating should be revised to '20th century'
