An 18ct gold, ruby and diamond oval cluster ring. Centred with an oval mixed-cut ruby approx. 1.25cts, within a round brilliant diamond ten stone border, approx. 1.00ct total (the shank crisply engraved '750 1.00'), all claw set in white on a yellow gold square-section shank with split knife-shoulders with chenirs, post 2000 Edinburgh convention hallmarks, size L, 5.3g Condition Report: Overall good condition. The ruby measures approx. 8mm x 6.1 x 2.8mm, a good red but heavily included to the point of semi-opaque, no obvious evidence visible with a 10X loupe of fracture or glass filling, however the back of the stone is not easy to see. The diamonds each measure approx. 3mm diameter, Clarity about SI, colour about K/L

A late Victorian silver mounted clear cut glass claret jug and a photograph frame. The mallet shaped body of the jug with a central diagonal band, the bottom with fine 'hob-nail' type arched panels and stylised leaves, the silver mount with a hinged lid engraved with a crest and ribbon motto, and with an angular handle, mark of Heath & Middleton, Birmingham 1894, 18ch gigh (7 inches); the modern plated rectangular photograph frame, 18cm high, 13cm wide (approx. 7 x 5 inches) Condition Report: Claret jug; Overall very good condition for age, general light wear and tear commensurate with age and use, Some scuffs to base as expected from a claret jug that has been used. Marks clear with only minor rubbing, similarly the cres on the lid. The silver mounts require a thorough clean. Plated frame; good for age though some minor scratches, particularly at approx. 2pm, and requires a good clean.

Stands upright and does not rock. The swing handle is ever so slightly misshapen but hinging well. The blue glass liner is in good condition. Engraved with initials on the underside of the foot. In generally very good condition.
