An early 20th Century brass bound oak tantalus, the mirrored back with three cut glass decanters within fixing, cupboard containing glasses to the front with underlying drawer below, brass bindings overall and carrying handles to sides, evidence of previous plating, 15 x 11 x 12in. (38 x 28 x 15cms) high.
An early 19th Century Sheffield plate pen and ink stand, rectangular with gadrooned and foliate rim, two cut glass inkwells and candlestick with fitted snuffer, 9 x 6 1/2in. (22 x 17cms); together with a quill with filled silver handle. NB Previously sold in these rooms 26th March 2014, Lot 430.

A single stone diamond ring, the old cut diamond weighing approximately 0.50 carats, in illusion setting, crown mount above chenier shoulders, on 18ct. yellow gold shank, ring size N; an 18ct. yellow gold wedding band, ring size O; and a 19th Century ring, the central square glass cabochon covering plaited hair within half pearl bezel, further tapering pearls to shoulder (one shoulder broken and missing), engraved to back "RS". A Victorian cut and engraved glass claret jug with silver mounts, Birmingham 1863, Hirons, Plante & Co, with plaited silver rope handle and engraved swags to neck, later applied white metal foot, approx 30cm high, together with a similar clarat jug with white metal mounts. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Later applied white metal foot to one decanter and chips to the foot of the other.
An unusual gilt metal hand mirror with integral timepiece, the repoussé and chased mirror fitted with an 18th century pocket watch movement by C, Charleson, London, approx 27.5cm, a late 18th century gilt metal etui necessaire, lacking fittings, a collection of buckles, 18th, 19th and early 20th century to include a pair of cut steel and leather shoe buckles, with fittings, a bronze ring, two gilt fobs, one set with opaque hardstone and various items of costume jewellery and plate. (lot) CONDITION REPORT: The hand mirror possibly assembled in the late 19th century, the distressed glass a later replacement. Movement not working.
A Victorian silver ink stand, Sheffield 1846, Henry Wilkinson & Co, of oblong form, with pierced and engraved foliate decoration, raised on four feet, two cut glass inkwells and central silver taperstick, approx 25cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: Wear holes to a few of the prominent high points. One shallow dent to one corner. One wing nut missing to base. Minor denting to taperstick. Conforming hallmarks to all individual pieces.
