Early George V silver mounted whisky tot, with hinged cover and star cut base (London 1913) Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, together with a separate silver "whisky" label (London 1919) maker's mark E.O. Whisky tot 10.5cm overall height. (2)General overall condition good, glass body has no cracks or chips, interior slightly marked in the base. Silver mount is good, some surface tarnish, thumb piece and flat cover slightly bent, hinge good, marks clear. Label good but tarnished, chain good, marks clear.

(2)Tyre decanter.General overall condition good, glass body is good, no major damage but some surface chips to edge of tyre, interior is marked. silver mount (Birmingham 1907 Hukin & Heath) and stopper are tarnished, collar may have been refixed. Stopper fits and is removable.Claret Jug.General overall condition good, glass body interior is dirty, exterior has very minor surface scratching and chipping. Plated mount is slightly worn and full of plate polish, whole mount is not on straight and may have been refixed, hinge is loose.
Fine Royal wine glass from H.M.Queen Victoria's glass table service with finely cut crowned VR cipher inscribed on paper label on base 'Used by The Shah at the State Opera July 2/89'. 11.5cm. H.I.M. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar Shah of Persia (1831-1896) came for a State Visit to England in July 1889 and had already been invested by Queen Victoria a Knight of The Garter on his previous visit in 1873. He is reported to have had 84 wives and many concubines. The state visit was well reported at the time and included a State Opera performance where presumably the Shah had personally used this glass to drink from. A very rare memento from his visit. He was sadly assassinated in 1896.
Georgian wine glass, circa 1765, the ogee-shaped bowl with etched butterfly and flowers, over a double-series opaque twist stem and conical foot, 14.5cm high, together with a continental opaque twist wine glass (2). Provenance: From the Estate of David Tron, Kings Road Antiques dealerThe Georgian glass has some small footrim chips. The continental glass has some clouding inside and some scratching. May have been cut down as the rim is quite sharp.
