A group of antique and modern drinking glasses - including a commemorative Stuart airtwist wine goblet in the 18th century style, engraved 'York A.D.71-1971' and with the city arms and Tudor roses, etched factory mark, 20.2 cm high; a Wedgwood commemorative 'Christmas 1977 St Pauls' etched goblet, 18.5 cm high; a small liqueur decanter etched with a pair of love birds, with six matching tot glasses; a set of 12 liqueur glasses with an engraved foliate meander, 1960s-70s; a set of six cut glass small tumblers, 9.4 cm high; and two sets of five Edwardian stemmed blown glass port or sherry glasses. Two carved marble table lamps - second half 20th century, baluster form with foliate carved foliate mounts to the waisted socles and square base, 24.75 cm and 25 cm high (one lacks bulb fitting, wiring cut); together with Victorian painted and gilded white glass bowl, originally on a pedestal base, of frilled, floral form, painted with flowers and insects, 23.5 cm diameter. (3)* Condition: The lamp that is lacking the bulb fitting is otherwise in good condition. The other lamp has a small chip to the lower edge of the top section below the bulb fitting. No other faults.
A pair of blue cased cut glass wine glasses, probably by Val St Lambert - the ogee bowls with blaze, star and hobnail diamond cut decoration, on waisted hexagonal stems with notched edges and a single tear, on star cut feet, 21.2 cm high; together with a good quality blue cased cut glass vase - probably Bohemian, late 20th century, of slightly flared form with tooth cut, scalloped rim, cut with bands of star, sunburst and printie cutting over a comb cut band to the foot, the base star cut, 25 cm high, small chip to edge of base. (3)* Condition: Both glasses in VG condition, with no faults. The vase has a chip to the edge of the base.
A set of seven large cocktails glasses - second half 20th century, with deep cupped bowls, 18 cm high; together with a Waterford cut crystal tazza, etched mark, 14.75 cm high; a set of seven red wine goblets, 18.2 cm high; a Victorian rummer; a Victorian enamelled glass claret jug; and a set of five Victorian star cut glass dishes, one with rim chip. (22)
A small 19th century continental hand-painted shagreen flip top case containing a pair of cut-glass perfume bottles with original stoppers, yellow metal screw top lids (possibly gold) in a red velvet interior, together with two cut green glass scent bottles with screw top lids (3) * Condition: Etui - Scent bottles: the stoppers do come out on both bottles. Impressed French gold marks to the top of both lids - one has a tiny ding below the marks. One bottle has no other faults. The other bottle has one tiny fleabite to the shoulder and two or three other tiny fleabites around the base facets. The case has some losses to the painted decoration around the edges and the 'Souvenir' mount, as can be seen clearly in the photos - in places this extends to losses to the shagreen beneath. There is craquelure to the varnish throughout. Some play to the hinge and there are small splits above the catch on the lid, meaning that it won't stay closed. There is a shrinkage crack visible to both sides of the base section.- Two green glass scent bottles: Both have some flea bite nibbles and wear to the facet edges. The larger bottle is missing the stopper and has a slight ding to the top.
A late Victorian or Edwardian intaglio-cut blue and parcel-gilt glass bowl - possibly by Stevens & Williams, of stepped, conical form, intaglio engraved with drapery swags and foliate meanders between floral ovals and reel borders, 17.8 cm diameter, 8.2 cm high, some gilt wear, one tiny rim frit.
A set of six cut glass whisky tumblers - slightly flared with diamond and blaze cut decoration, 8.6 cm high; together with a small quantity of similarly cut glasses, including a pair of brandy balloons; a set of five white wine glasses, 15.2 cm high; a pair of red wine glasses; a set of six small wine glasses, 13.25 cm high; and a set of three port glasses. An Italian gilded glass ice bucket and matching decanter - late 20th century, in the Florentine taste, the ice bucket with gold-plated tongs, 14.5 cm high; together with a similar decanter with jewelled gilt-metal foliate mount by RCR of Italy, 33 cm high; a set of six similarly decorated small wine glasses, 13.75 cm high; a gilt and cut glass fruit bowl, 23 cm diameter; and a porcelain ovoid box with gilt mounts, 19 cm high. A set of six coloured cased glass wine glasses - probably Bohemian, 1970s-80s, the six bowls in different colours, with star cut and wheel engraved vine fruit and floral decoration, on waisted, faceted stems and star cut feet, 22 cm high; together with a similar, smaller set of cased coloured and gilded wine glasses, on wrythen stems and gilt lined feet, 16 cm high, small flaw to one foot. (12)* Condition: All in good condition, with no chips, cracks or other damage. A little minor gilt wear to the smaller glasses.
A fine quality Bohemian cut glass punch set - second half 20th century, the covered ovoid punch bowl cut with vertical panels of elaborate star and sunburst cutting, on a star cut base, the conforming domed cover with panel cut finial, on a conforming scalloped stand, with six cups and star cut ladle, the stand 43 cm diameter, overall 35 cm high.* Condition: The punch bowl set is in very good condition, with no faults whatsoever – there are no chips, frits, cracks or other faults to the glass
A small group of cut crystal bowls including Waterford, Stuart and Webb - the small Waterford bowl 8 cm diameter; the Stuart bowl with cut and engraved aquilegia flower decoration, 12.2 cm diameter; the Webb bowl with petal, notched and hobnail diamond cut decoration, 12.2 cm diameter, all with etched marks; together with two cut crystal trifle / fruit bowls; a vase; and two boxed commemorative 2011 Royal Wedding cut glass tot glasses; plus two other pieces of moulded glass.
