A THOMAS WEBB CUT GLASS SHIPS DECANTER with ball stopper, together with a claret jug with silver plated mount, and a 19th century star cut decanter with slice cut neck & stopper (3)Condition Report – 1) Claret jug late 20th century, 26cm high in good condition. 2) Ships decanter – ‘Thomas Webb’ late 20th century, the glass isn’t cloudy but a bit brown stained, 26cm high, 3) The star cut one late 19th century, chips to rim, wear to base, little discoloured, stopper rough around the base, 27cm high, (all heights to top of stoppers)
AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY OAK TANTALUS, holding three square, cut glass spirit decanters with facet cut ball stoppers, bears presentation panel dated 1910Condition Report – The wooden frame is mostly sun faded, the plated fittings quite worn key doesn’t to be the right one it seems too long, clicks but doesn’t operate the mechanism, decanters look okay, observed in frame, but cannot see bases or remove the stoppers to see if clipped or cracked on their bases.
