Victorian silver desk stand of shaped oval form, with engraved presentation inscription, pierced decoration and scroll border, on four scroll feet, silver mounted cut glass inkwell and another matching container, central taperstick with base compartment (Sheffield 1851), Henry Wilkinson. Approximately 12ozs weighable silver (ink containers and taperstick base now detached)
George III silver cruet stand of cinque-lobed form, with engraved armorial shield and central carrying handle, on four shell feet (London 1761), maker - I. D., together with three silver coasters with engraved crests and pierced slip-in covers (one cover with blind insert), London 1766, same maker and two associated cut glass bottles with white metal covers and same engraved crest (unmarked). Approximately 46ozs weighable silver CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Stand is very good. some minor surface wear, pitting and scratching. Armorial is worn. No signs of major damage or repair. Large caster is in good condition, some minor surface scratching, cover is dented. Smaller caster with matching cover and blind insert has some denting to body and surface scratching. Cover is undamaged. Other caster has similar dents to body and foot us slightly distorted. Engraved crests are worn on all pieces. Large bottle has some minor chips, cover is good with some wear to decoration. Smaller bottle similar but with large chip to base, cover also worn. Marks on frame and casters clear, bottle covers unmarked
Late 19th / early 20th century oak and silver plate mounted tantalus with three squared cut glass decanters, each with faceted stopper and associated modern silver wine label behind locking bar, with surmounting carrying handle, 36cm wide CONDITION REPORT No maker's mark, overall condition good, no split or damage apparent to woodwork, lock functions and key present, decanters come with silver labels. One decanter with chips around neck and minor flea bites around base, stopper also chipped. Second decanter chipped around neck, cloudy interior, stopper chipped and third decanter with some minor nicks and chips around decanter and some cloudiness to interior, stopper has minor chips. All basically good
