A pair of George III silver salts, of oval section with lattice pierced sides raised on four ball and claw supports, original blue glass liner with star cut bases, maker F.S, London 1769, width 8cm; together with two matching later George III silver salts, one by Thomas Daniell 1777, the other with indistinct makers mark, London 1786, combined silver weight 6.27 toz.Thank you for your information. A William IV silver mustard pot by Charles Reily and George Storer, with scallop shell thumb piece over a cylindrical foliate scroll pierced body, green glass liner with star cut base, London 1837, height 7cm, weight 3.46 toz.This mustard pot is generally in good antique condition. The lid sits true, the hinge is good and there is no soldered repairs. The top of the handle has a small deep scratch. The body is in good condition no dents, breaks or repairs. The glass is a very good fit and is the original. It has some scratches as one would expect from it going in and out of the pot and scratches in the interior from use. Mainland uk postage would £15.20.
Victorian cast brass and glass platform inkwell of hunting interest, the base set with four bronzed electrotype panels in high relief depicting stags, grouse, hares and birds, the well of globe shape of ruby flash cut faceted glass having stag finial, 23cm tall. Stag horns have losses. Glass nibbled to the main body at the high points.Foot rim has multiple chips. Dirty throughout. Appears to be metal polish residue stuck in recessed areas to the metal top and throughout metal base. Possible repairs to underside of the base.
A late 19th Century Thomas Webb & Sons cameo glass epergne, the circular mirror base set with a central cameo glass posy bowl on plain stem with three low posy bowls, all cased in opal over ruby over clear and cut with a briar rose and black berry over frosted ground with three clear crystal leaves, height 25cm.
A 19th Century framed and glazed presentation certificate from The Great Exhibition of 1851 presented to W.H.B & J Richardson, reads 'Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations 1851 - I Hereby certify that Her Majesty's Commissioners upon the Award of the Jurors have presented a Prize Medal to Messrs W.H.B & J Richardson for Cut Glass shown at the Exhibition', below a winged angel, 59cm x 43cm, framed. Provenance - William Haden Richardson and thence by descent.
A late 19th Century Thomas Webb & Sons Cameo glass plaque, the plaque of oval section cased in opal over ruby and cut with two putti holding harebells while on a cloud, 11.5cm x 8cm, A/F. Consigned from a local private collection this was thought to be a later example of George Woodalls cameo work.
