St' below, some soiling, edges creased and frayed, tear to upper wrapper with loss. Note: This publication has sometimes been attributed to Captain Henry Walter Bellew (1803-1842), brother of Francis John Bellew (1799-1867) Francis served in the Bengal Army, retiring as Captain in 1832 (later publishing Memoirs of a Griffin in 1845). Henry was killed in 1842 during the First Afghan War (1839-1842)
