With owner's entry in pen: "Friedel Cabos de Fries" (Martha Frieda de Fries, 1893-1988). In 1924, Piet Mondriaan painted a portrait of her (both her husband Ernst Cabos and she collected works by Mondriaan). She also played a role in the film "Die blonde Geisha" in 1923 (as geisha Osukisan).
