S Schmollen, all unframed.
Anne Redpath O.B.E., R.S.A., A.R.A. (1895-1965). "Peebles". Signed artist's proof, limited edition 46/75, extensively inscribed on an old label verso and bearing the date "15th July 1971", a coloured lithograph, 31cm by 46.5cm. Provenance: John Mathieson & Co, 20 Frederick Street, Edinburgh. Attended Edinburgh College of Art in 1913. Married James Michie, an architect, in 1920, their eldest son the painter and sculptor Alastair Michie and David, the youngest, also an artist. Redpath exhibited in Edinburgh, was president of the Scottish Society of Women Artists 1944 -1947, admitted to The Royal Scottish Academy as an associate in 1947, and in 1952 became the first woman Academician. In 1955 she was awarded an OBE for her work as "Artist" and "Member of the Board of Management of the Edinburgh College of Art".
