Künstler Nachlass Enderlein, Karl großer Posten verschiedener Arbeiten, auch mit umsetigem Nachlaß Stempel, Karl (eigentlich Ewald Max Karl) Enderlein (* 9. Mai 1872 in Leipzig, † 1954 in Dresden) war ein deutscher Maler und Graphiker, nach einer Lehre als Lithograph studierte Enderlein an der Kunstakademie Dresden bei Ferdinand Wilhelm Pauwels und Leon Pohle, seine Ausstellungstätigkeit begann er 1904, bei der Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung stellte er 1906 aus und 1907 bei der Deutsch-Nationalen Kunstausstellung in Düsseldorf, nach dem Studium war er zunächst beim Verlag Otto Maier als Illustrator tätig, zum Märchenbuch Riesen und Zwerge (Gebrüder Grimm) sowie für die Zeitschriften Österreichs Deutsche Jugend und Die Woche für die Deutsche Jugend lieferte er Illustrationen, von 1913 bis 1947 war er als Lehrer an der Kunstgewerbeschule Dresden tätig, 1953 war er auf der Dritten Deutschen Kunstausstellung in Dresden vertreten, neben graphischen Arbeiten widmete er sich in seinem künstlerischen Schaffen vor allem Landschaften, Blumenstücken und Genrethemen in Aquarell und Öl, Quelle Internet, hier eine große Sammlung an Arbeiten in Öl, Kohle- und Blei- sowie Kreide- und Farbzeichnungen, Aquerelle sowie Mischtechniken in verschiedenen Formaten von ca. 10 x 13 bis 48 x 56 cm, ges. 52 Stück

A rare and important work by the irish born Soldier & Anthropologist colonel Edward Tuite Dalton (1815- 1880), a geographically precise description of the lands and people with each tribe described by Dalton and portrayed in stunning lithographs. Possibly one of only 100 copies printed, and also stated in preface of Herbert hope Risley's ethnologies of British Colonial India that 'the book is now a rare one, I am infirmed that they entire stock was destroyed by an unfortunate accident some years ago'
