Bartlett (W.H.). A Brief Account of the Picturesque Scenery on the Banks of the Wye between Ross and Chepstow, Gloucester, Printed and Sold by T. Jew, and to be had of C. Hough, Bookseller, Monmouth, 1839, additional lithographed title-page with vignette, and twelve lithograph plates by T. M. Baynes after W. H. Bartlett, a few plates lightly foxed, last three leaves with a short tear at the head, orig. buff printed wrappers, soiled, a little frayed, with the remains of a green roan backstrip, 4to. The front wrapper bears the title "Thirteen Views with a Brief Account of the Picturesque Scenery on the Banks of the Wye ..." The views comprise a vignette of Ross from Wilton Bridge, and plates of Goodrich Castle (two plates); Coldwell Rocks; New Weir; Monmouth; Landogo; Tintern Abbey (two plates); Wyndcliff; Bannagor Crags; and Chepstow Castle (two plates). Not in Abbey, Scenery, but the twelve plates, without title-page or text, are listed as 548. (1)
