Verso nochmals signiert.Provenienz: Villa Grisebach, 30.11.2013, Los 1051 / Privatsammlung Berlin Verso mit zwei Ausstellungsetiketten. Darauf bezeichnet "Hohes Ufer" (Ostseestrand bei Wustrow) bzw. "Hohes Ufer bei Wustrow".Harry Deierling war ein deutscher Maler, Lithograph und Bühnenbildner. Er machte 1908-1911 in Berlin eine Lithographenlehre und befreundete sich in dieser Zeit mit dem Maler Bruno Krauskopf. Anschließend erlernte er an der Abendschule des Berliner Kunstgewerbemuseums die Holzschnitttechnik und arbeitete immer wieder als Theater- und Dekorationsmaler. Mit W. Jaeckel, W. Kohlhoff und E. Fritsch teilte er sich ein Atelier. Im Ersten Weltkrieg leistete Deierling Kriegsdienst und war danach bis 1933 Mitglied der Berliner Secession. 1916 nahm der Künstler an der Ausstellung der Berliner Freien Secession teil, die sich von der Berliner Secession abgespalten hatte. In der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus hatte der Künstler Ausstellungsverbot und 1937 wurden seine Bilder als "entartet" eingestuft. Bei einem Bombenangriff 1943 wurden zahlreiche seiner Werke zerstört. 1946 wurde er Mitglied des Schutzverbandes bildender Künstler und nahm später seine künstlerische Tätigkeit wieder auf; seine Bilder wurden jetzt immer abstrakter. Erst ab 1971 konnte er sich wieder ganz seinen künstlerischen Aktivitäten widmen.Die leicht düstere Stimmung mit den grauen Wolken und den dynamischen Fluchtlinien, auf unserem Bild, lässt schon die kommende politische Situation erahnen.
