A 19th century mezzotint print after Rubens depicting Helene Fourment (his second wife), framed and glazed, later frame, 60cm x 74.5cm (overall). It does appear to be a mezzotint and not a later lithograph. It has been reframed and it is possible the engraver's details are concealed within the window mount.
Alfred Wainwright (1907-1991): artist signed lithograph, The North-Western Fells, image 23 x 18cm, overall 37 x 32cm. Frame loose. Best-known for his Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells, a series of seven volumes describing the natural features, routes of ascent and descent and the view from the summits of 214 Lakeland fells. Aka Høegh (Greenlandic, b. 1947): artist signed colour lithograph, Imap Tunissutai (Gifts of the Ocean), dated 1993, with artist information affixed verso, image 34 x 47cm, overall 55 x 69cm. Høegh has worked in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpting. In her art, Høegh focuses on nationalistic expressionism, creating art which reflects local, traditional myths, and is steeped in heritage and local lore. She frequently incorporates legend, nature, and provincial mythos into her works, devising strong connections between her art and local tradition. Hedley Fitton (1859 - 1929): lithograph, Place Paolo e Giovanni, Venice, signed LR, artist label verso, image 48 x 38 cm, overall 82 x 69 cm. Fitton was born in Didsbury, Manchester, and was a pupil at the Warrington School of Art in Cheshire. He travelled and worked extensively in England, Scotland, France and Italy. He lived in Didsbury in the 1890s, working as editor and illustrator for The Daily Chronicle in Manchester. His work was exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, Royal Watercolour Association and at the Paris Salon. In 1907 the Société des Artistes Français awarded Fitton a gold medal for his work. Not available for in-house P&P
