So, Mrs. Pissarro requests that you bring back from Paris some powdered milk for little Georges. And Lucien's shirts, which are with his aunt Felicity. I wish you a good evening'). Following to the third side of the bifolium is the young Lucien Pissarro's A.L.S., Lucien Pissarro, one page, 8vo, n.p. (Pontoise), [11th December] 1872, to his father ('Mon cher papa'), in French. Pissarro writes, in full (with his spelling mistakes retained), 'Mamman te fait dire que la poerte est cassee que tu viene vite parce que les voleur peuve ruenir. (Translation: 'Mama wants you to know the door is broken so come quick because thieves could come. Please bring me a box of paints. Minette begs you to bring her a bathing costume. I am not writing well because I don't feel like it'). Two charming letters with excellent associations.
