The program comprised the company's first production of Jerome Robbins' American classic, Fancy Free; Footprints Dressed in Red, a new work choreographed by Garth Fagan; and John Taras's reinterpretation of the Stravinsky Firebird. Mr. Knight blocked out 'HARLEM' on a separate sheet of thin paper and then attached it to the larger drawing.
