Ephemera – broadside issued by the artist James Ward promoting his series of lithographs of celebrated horses with ms addition to base possibly in Ward’s hand adding an addition lithograph of the King’s horse ‘Nonpareil’. No date but Whatman watermark in the paper suggests 1822. This is clearly a final proof before issued of this broadside.

Edward Wentworth Dillon. Kent 1900-1923. Vanity Fair. ‘The Champion County’. Original colour chromolithograph of Edward Wentworth Dillon by OWL and dated September 13th 1913. Men of the Day 2339. Good/very good condition The ‘Vanity Fair’ magazine appeared on a weekly basis from November 1868 to January 1914. The lithograph of Dillon was the final cricketer to appear in the magazine before the demise of the magazine and therefore is the rarest cricketing lithograph to have appeared as circulation numbers dropped
‘The English Cricketers-The Eleven of All England. Mono lithograph, highlighted with colour, of the first England overseas tour to North America. The lithograph probably published in the Illustrated London News or similar around the time of the tour. Mounted, framed and glazed. Overall 17”x12.5”. Good condition. Sold with over twenty various other cricket prints, posters, framed cigarette and trade cards etc, some reproduction. Framed and unframed prints. G
