An unusual kit constructed portable live steam plant comprising small vertical, single cylinder engine approx 5½” tall, ¾” stroke and approx ½” bore, connected to vertical boiler approx 5” diameter, 12½” tall, spirit fired with central flue and 8” chimney, water gauge, drain cock, filler safety valve and control cock, all mounted on hand pulled 4 wheel wood platform 13½” x 7½”; finished in green and black. VGC (some valves inoperable) (See lot 270 for illustration).
A Markie approx 1” scale live steam traction engine, single cylinder, slip eccentric valve gear, spirit fired copper boiler with under tubes, single speed gear selector to single rear wheel drive, screw down brake to opposite wheel, all brass steel construction, finished and polished brass and copper with black gloss boiler and maroon tender and side plates. Unfired, VGC to Mint (few chips and minor rusting to steel wheel rims) (See lot 270 for illustration).
A large nineteenth century cut glass decanter with hallmarked silver mounts, London (rubbed marks) with lozenge body and mushroom star stopper; a square canted spirit decanter with lozenge ball stopper; a nineteenth century decanter with pontil mark to base and faceted rings to neck, with lappet panels to shoulders; a smaller decanter moulded with balls to body; and a mallet shaped decanter with floral gilt and enamelled decoration.
