Schreiner, Olive LETTER TO HER NEICE, BESSIE REITZ ABOUT LITERARY MATTERS De Aar: 1912 Four page letter dated 8th May 1912 and written from De Aar by Olive Schreiner to Bessie Reitz enquiring about her eye and sending her two books as a present. Schreiner talks of various classical poets and writers and evaluates the translations of their works, recommending a translation of Euripides, which she admires, that epitomizes 'the real spirit' of the writer. Plus another two-page letter enquiring about Bessie's eye, undated without address with stamped envelope and another envelope addressed to Bessie Reitz in Olive Schreiner's hand. Bessie Reitz was the daughter of President F. W. Reitz of the O.F.S. (2)

His widow wrote that "so many wrote saying that for them he typified the spirit of South Africa" and another letter to Bess Reitz, 16 January 1947 concerning her work with the Housing Commission and whether or not Gen. After the death of Spock (Leonard Nimoy) the crew of the USS Enterprise returns to Earth. When James T. Kirk (William Shatner) learns that Spocks spirit, or katra, is held in the mind of Dr. Leonard Bones McCoy (DeForest Kelley), Kirk and company steal the Enterprise to return Spocks body to his home planet.
