KILKERRAN FIRST CASK SET6 bottles. To mark the re-opening of the Kilkerran Distillery, the first six casks of the first spirit run were laid down to be bottled in 2014 when they reached 10 years of age. Each cask had each previously held different spirits/ fortified wines.The bottles (all 70cl, all 46% abv):OLOROSO WOOD; FINO WOOD; RUM WOOD; MADEIRA WOOD; PORT WOOD; BOURBON WOOD.In excellent condition; levels mid-neck.
BARBANZOLO CORTESANO SOLERA 1915 BRANDY ANEJOA rare bottle of solera aged Spanish Brandy. No strength or capacity statements, but bottle approx. 1 litre. The Solera system of aging is an interesting process of fractional blending which is generally used to ensure consistant quality of product. We think this bottle is from the 1960's, with the original spirit being laid down in 1915. 1 bottle.
KILKERRAN WORK IN PROGRESS #1A nice bottle of the Kilkerran Work in Progress #1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 70cl. 46% abv. First release in the series showing the progress of the maturing spirit from the Glengyle Distillery which re-opened in 2004. In original tube (a few marks). Level mid-low neck. Excellent condition. 1 bottle.

RAF Escaping Society Maquis D’Auvergne cover signed by Nancy Wake & Henri Tardivat. Nancy Wake, the most decorated female of WWII who worked for the resistance and SOE and was known as ’The White Mouse’ by the Gestapo who put a reward of millions of Francs up for her capture. Henri Tardivat who assisted her on many missions in occupied France and who praised her fighting spirit, amply demonstrated when she killed an SS sentry with her bare hands in order to prevent the alarm being raised during a raid.

Georgian Irish blue / grey tinted cut glass urn with diamond and slice cut decoration, on square socle, 16cm, pair square spirit decanters with stoppers, engraved - 'R' and 'B' and other glassware CONDITION REPORT Footed salt has large loss to base, ribbed urn has loss to one corner of foot. Faceted trumpet bowl - glass has chip to foot, otherwise wear but generally good condition
1930s silver spirit flask of rectangular form, with engine-turned decoration and hinged bayonet fitting cap (Birmingham 1939), maker - W. N. Ltd. All at approximately 6ozs, 13.3cm overall length CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good, some surface scratching and minor denting. Height excluding cap and hinge 11.7cm. Width 9.2cm. Maximum depth 2.0cm. 6ozs is the silver weight of the flask. We believe capacity is between 5 and 6 fluid ounces. Full set of hallmarks on body - comprising maker's mark, Birmingham assay office mark, Lion Passant and date letter. Part marked on the base and hinge. All marks are slightly rubbed but legible. Denting is in the centre of the front panel where panel appears to have been pushed in slightly. There is another dent towards bottom right hand corner of same panel, minor dent to bottom left hand corner. Scratching is through the pattern and are more severe on the back but front also has some. The large stripes are possibly from a rubber band and may be difficult to remove. There is no marking for the capacity. We do have the facility for accurate measurement and estimated it at 5 to 6 fluid ozs, base approximately 12 fluid ozs container.
