A wicker picnic hamper with leather and brass mounts opening to reveal cotents including various cutlery, enamel plates, tins, spirit kettle, etc, bears paper label inside inscribed "Paul Milker Sr St. Djabourov & Co. Bucharest", the outside stamped "Paul Milker Str. Sarindar.12 Bucuresti" CONDITION REPORTS Hamper size is approx 49cm x 37cm x 25cm. Leather straps are worn and cracking and have some dots of paint on them and the basket interior does not appear to be original and has had extra additions. The enamel plate shows chips to the enamel work, the cutlery is in varying states, the storage tins appear to be refurbished but there are signs of rusting and chipping to the enamel. Kettle appears to have been re-soldered, there is no burner. the enamel cups are chipped and various losses to the wicker in part and full. The interior has scratches and wear all conducive with age and use. See images for further details.
