Rare George I Britannia Standard silver spirit burner of circular form, slip-on cover with engraved armorial crest and hinged domed top, clear glass reservoir (London 1722), Sarah Holaday. All at approximately 10ozs, 9.7cm diameter CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good, some surface wear, scratching and minor denting commensurate with age and use. Top rim to base is slightly distorted. Glass reservoir is in good condition but may not be original. Item could be an inkwell and appears to have been used as such. However it has a heavy band on the base below the rim and would have sat in a stand of sort. Marks to base are clear. Marks in cover are slightly;y rubbed

Edwardian silver spirit flask of shaped form, with engraved monogram, hinged bayonet fitting cover and separate drinking cup (Sheffield 1903), James Dixon & Son. All at approximately 6ozs, 14.5cm overall length CONDITION REPORT Overall condition is good, metal appears a little thin and flexes at the area of the engraved initials. Cover works well, fits snuggly, marks are crisp, elsewhere very minor scratches

A darkwood Mask/Helmet of a 19th to 20th c. type associated with the Moyamba region, Sierra Leone, possibly connected with the Mende or Sherbro peoples. The mask has the image of a female face, the rings below perhaps representing circular ripples formed as the Sande spirit emerges from the river bottom, where it resides. There are apertures to each eye in order that the wearer may see, 15 1/2" high, 9 1/2" diameter approx.
