A matched pair of Chinese hongmu small square tables, 18th / 19th century, the cleated tops over a plain frieze, on square supports with inturned feet, united by shaped peripheral stretchers, 16in. (40.5cm.) square, 20in. (51cm.) high. (2)* Condition: Good original colour to both tables. Faults as follows: - Table one: A few old spirit stains to top, small old chip to edge of centre panel and 1.5in. filled crack to centre. Let-in repair to top of one leg. A few wax filled chips to one corner of top. Crack and wax fill to one lower leg. Small chips and splits to bottom of feet. Small repair section to back of one stretcher. - Table two: A few old wax filled holes and cracks to wood in places. Larger wax fill to back of one stretcher and to splits on the inside of one leg. Let-in repair section to top inside of one leg. Top a little loose on this table.

A Chinese carved and pierced white jade apsara pendant, possibly Ming period, the female spirit of the clouds depicted in flight amidst ruyi form clouds, holding a lotus flower, 4 3/8in. (11cm.) long.* Condition: Good condition, with no chips or other damage.

Two Chinese carved hardwood low tables, late 19th century, one with scalloped bead work edge with pink variegated marble inset encompassed by inlaid mother of pearl prunus branch border, over a pierced frieze with floral mother of pearl decoration, on four cabriole supports with fierce mask carving to knees above ball and claw feet, united by concave stretchers; the second of conforming design and size but without mother of pearl inlay, both 18in. (45.75cm.) high, 21in. (53.5cm.) diameter. (2)* Condition: - MOP inlaid table: Several cracks to marble and a few chipped areas where cracks cross. Two minor losses to MOP inlay to top border. Approx. 11 MOP petals missing from flowers and centre of most flowers missing. Two losses from large MOP lappets at top of frieze. Joints of stretcher loose. Chip to end of one stretcher at joint with leg. - Second table: Pale circular water stain from a vase or jardiniere to marble top. Small filled chip to edge of marble and small chip to wood at border of marble. Dark spirit stain to edge of top. Small split to one section of pierced frieze. Top very loose - several joints need gluing.

An early 19th century Swedish giltwood and grey painted console table and en suite mirror, attributed to Pehr Gustaf Bylander The rectangular plate surmounted by a spread eagle and acanthus leaf carved cavetto moulded cornice, flanked by turned paterae carved columns, the table with a rectangular white and grey veined marble inset top above a stiff leaf and paterae carved frieze, on scrolling dolphin supports, with applied sunburst to the rear panel, on a simulated portor marble plinth base, 79cm wide, 66cm deep, 269cm high. Pehr Gustav Bylander was active in Gothenburg from 1804 to 1859 and was one of Sweden's most well known and successful mirror manufacturers. He supplied mirrors with console tables to many great houses in Southern and Western Sweden, including Skottorp, Sperlingsholm and Stjernsund. The Nordislea Museum in Stockholm has several examples of his work.Similar examples of Bylander's work are illustrated in Neoclassicism in the North, Swedish Furniture and Interiors 1770-1850 p.162,(ill.168), p.207 (ill.9) and specifically p. 175, where a pair of mirrors with similar eagles and carved columns can be seen illustrated in Skottorp. Skottorp was built for the Royal Secretary Frans Örnestedt, it was bought by his descendant, the Commercial Councillor Peter Möller in 1813.    See Christies South Kensington, Style & Spirit, 4 February 2014, lot 33 for a very similar example by Bylander with eagle cresting and dolphin supports to the base, see also Bonhams, London 25 June 2008, lot 95 for a pier glass and console with similar sunburst. Further related examples by Bylander include a pier mirror and console table en suite featuring similar dolphin supports and thyrsus attributes, sold Christie's, London, 28 March 2006, lot 137 a pair of pier mirrors without the consoles, attributed to Bylander sold anonymously Christie's London, 12 September 2007, lot 219.

A silver mounted gut glass spirit decanter, Birmingham 1912. CONDITION REPORT: The glass decanter is in good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are no chips. The silver collar is in good condition with only very minor blemishes. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The stopper has very slight creasing around the neck and there is one 5 mm and one 1 mm dent to the sides of the top. The glass is not chipped.
