A large scale steam plant early 20th century, comprising spirit fired boiler 8.5” x 3” diam mounted in brick simulated cast iron housing approx 7.5” tall x 10.5” long and 5” wide, cast detail firing end with fixed doors, BL Ltd cast in (Basset Lowke), safety valve, whistles, steam valve, water pressure gauge, water cock, brass chimney, single cylinder horizontal engine, on CI plinth, 1” stroke, 4.5” curved spoke flywheel, feed water pump and displacement lubricator, together with 4 Marklin workshop items, all driven from layshaft, drillpress, lathe, bandsaw and grindstone, all in light green finish, all mounted on steel plate covered wooden 2 piece base, 13.75” x 26”. VGC for age. (Minor wear/rusting)
A Georgian style tea kettle on stand of plain circular form with embossed mid rib and hinged domed cover, with composition finial and a shaped composition handle, the base with three shaped cabriole legs with stretcher shaped for the separate spirit burner, 12 1/4in. (31cm), engraved crest, by R.C., London, 1935, 48.5oz. gross.
