She has also included some glow in the dark parts to the sheep for something a bit different.The sheep's main bodies measure approximately 90cm long x 72cm high x 30cm wide. Artist:Anna Partington.Anna is a photographer and artist who has always been interested in Art. She gained an art scholarship to Framlingham College at the age of 13. In 2010 she went to Cornwall to the University College Falmouth, where she gained a Distinction in Art and Design. She liked Cornwall so much that she stayed for her degree in Press and Editorial Photography BA (HONS). Anna struggled with dyslexia and has been working on a project about the connection between dyslexia, learning and doodling. She turned some of her doodles into really detailed and stimulating works of art. WW2 RAF Bomber Command Casualty Distinguished Flying Medal.Awarded to '1285728 SGT C.F. HATCH RAF' who was awarded the DFM for a tour of operations with 158 Squadron and was Killed on a raid to Geisenkirchen during his second tour with 640 Squadron September 1944. The DFM is complete with original ribbon and pin fitting. The recommendation for the award of the Distinguished Flying Medal:'This Wireless Operator / Air Gunner has since July 1942 completed 26 sorties including many heavily defended targets in the Rhur, Berlin, Hamburg, Turin, Nuremberg, Kiel, Frankfurt and Stettin. He is a member of one the finest crews in the Squadron and his skill as a Wireless Operator and Air Gunner has undoubtedly assisted in their success. By his example of courage and fine offensive spirit, it is considered that he merits the award of the DFM.Warrant Officer Cyril Frederick Hatch was born in Bromley but at the time of his enlistment was living in Blackpool. Volunteering for aircrew duties he was posted to 158 Squadron 4 Group joining the Squadron in 1942. His regular pilot was Flight Lieutenant Nicholas Smith RCAF who was awarded the DFC. He was screened from operations after his tour of ops and was later posted to 640 Squadron and flew his first op on the 18/19 April, he would support the D-Day landings with a raid on Maisy. On the night of the 13th September he and his crew were briefed for an op to Geisenkirchen, his aircraft was brought down with the death of all the crew except the pilot. On of the crew being only 17 years old.
