An Extremely Rare bottle of 1926 Champagne the historic precursor to Dom Pérignon from Moët et Chandon, bottled for the Centenary of Simon Brothers & Co, London (1835-1935). One of only 300 bottles produced in 1935 and preceeding the release of the 1921 vintage sold to the United States in 1936. The 300 UK bottles ordered by Simon Brothers were given to the Company's best customers to commemorate their Centenary in 1935. This bottle has come to us direct from the family of a long established West Country Wine & Spirit Merchant believed to have been one of those original customers. An extremely rare survivor and real Champagne History condition:- vsl chipped wax, vsl nick to edge of label
