A Victorian silver mounted cut glass spirit flask with cup base, London 1874, 13cm CONDITION REPORT: Screw cap with visible splits to the silver and tarnished. Hallmarks rubbed and partially legible. Stirrup cup base with some scratching and general tarnished speckling. Hallmarks legible. Glass with no chips but is grubby and showing some scratches.

O'Mara made her stage debut in a 1963 production of The Merchant of Venice. Her other stage roles included Elvira in Blithe Spirit (1974), Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (1982), Cleopatra in Antony & Cleopatra (1982), Goneril in King Lear (1987) and Marlene Dietrich in Lunch with Marlene (2008). Her films included two 1970 Hammer Horror films: The Vampire Lovers and The Horror of Frankenstein. On television, she had regular roles in The Brothers (1975-76), Triangle (1981-82) and Howards' Way (1989-90) and portrayed the recurring part of the Rani in Doctor Who (1985-87). O'Mara played Caress Morell, the scheming sister of Alexis Colby in the American primetime soap opera Dynasty in 1986. A 'Markie' model of a fairground showman's traction engine 'Trowbridge Coin Machines', built by Tony Pearce in 1983. The boiler being spirit fired with open crank and single cylinder having fitted pressure gauge, regulator, disc flywheel, worm and chain steering, generator, brake to back wheel having fitted road tyres. The canopy with extension chimney mounted on brass olives. Finished in red and white livery. Boiler: appears never fired. with original receipt. Measurements: Canopy 52cm x 20cm. Total height 30cm.
