William IV Old English Pattern ladle. Length measures 13 inches (33cm), weight 5.59ozt (173.9gms). Hallmarked London 1832, sponsors mark rubbed, possibly WE. The ladle is in good condition. There are surface scratches to the whole, a few tiny pits to the inside of the bowl, and tarnish to the end of the handle and the underside of the bowl. The rim of the bowl has some small notches in it. The hallmark is rubbed but legible, but the sponsor's mark is indistinct. The bowl appears to be slightly bent.
A large Edwardian Rat Tail ladle. Total length measuring approximately 14 inches, (36cm), weight 9.38ozt (291.2gms). Hallmarked Birmingham 1903, sponsors mark reads L&Co. The ladle is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. There are minor surface scratches to the whole, as well as some tiny but deep scrapes and dints, especially to the inside of the bowl. The end of the handle is slightly rubbed. The hallmark is very clear.
A modern silver cased canteen of six place settings, comprising six dinner knifes, six side knifes, six pairs of fish eaters, six dinner forks, six side forks, six desert spoons, six soup spoons, six teaspoons, two table spoons, one small ladle and carving knife fork and sharpener each with rope twist detail to the handles, each hallmarked Sheffield 1976, possibly Roberts and Belk, total weight 111.5ozt. Together with an Old English Georgian basting spoon, hallmarked London 1823, sponsors mark reads JB, a modern sauce ladle, hallmarked Sheffield 1958 and a three piece silver plated condiment set.

From 1911 he worked at the Georg Jensen Silversmithy and was the assistant director from 1926-54.
