A collection of 19th century blue and white wares, including Spodes Newstone plate with bird and grasshopper pattern, circa 1805-20, diameter 24 cm, a Davenport blue and white landscape patterned plate, 2 sauce boats and a ladle. CONDITION REPORT: The three plates are in generally good condition with no chips or cracks. There are no edge nibbles. There is no significant crazing. The ladle is in good order with no issues. The larger of the two sauce boats is structurally sound but is discoloured and crazed. There are some very slight nibbles to the top edge glaze. The small sauce boat is in good order with no issues.

A George VI silver canteen of Salisbury? pattern cutlery for twelve by Mappin & Webb, comprising two hundred and nine items, including twenty four ivorine handled table knives, twelve dessert knives, six piece carving set and twelve pairs of mother of pearl handed dessert eaters, all with steel blades except for the dessert forks which have silver tines, the silver flatware hallmarked for Sheffield, 1937/38/39 & 40, and engraved with the letter H, weighable silver 232oz, housed in a free standing walnut two drawer canteen on cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, width 74.5cm.CONDITION: 12 silver fish knives and forks. 24 table forks, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 teaspoons, 12 grapefruit spoons, 12 soup spoons, 6 egg spoons, 4 serving spoons, sifter spoon, pair of fish servers, soup ladle, pair of sauce ladles, three small serving spoons, 12 coffee spoons and a pickle spoon and fork. The canteen is in generally fairly well used condition, with numerous nicks and scratches to the silver consistent with age, but the fork tines and spoons tips are in good order with little signs of wear. One mother of pearl handles of the dessert forks and knives is damaged and most of the rest of the handles have sprung slightly. All hallmarks clear.

Visible wear beginning to show of the table and dessert fork tines. Minor surface scratches to some in general, in line with age and some use. Austrian marks quite rubbed.

Some of the knife handles have sprung/ are loose and or have been repaired poorly. Hallmarks generally good, apart from the knives.
