A rare Caughley sauce tureen ladle in the Chantilly Sprigs pattern circa 1782-92 painted in blue with floral sprays to the bowl surrounded by a single blue lined rim, with further conforming floral decoration to the delicately moulded handle, unmarked, 16.5cm long Notes: A circular tureen and cover in the same pattern with a notch for a ladle sold at these rooms on 22nd November 2017 as part of the Maurice Wright Collection, described as a breakfast or broth bowl. A Ridgeways doll's dinner service of Maidens Hair Fern pattern in green and white, of eighty-five pieces, comprising various plates, bowls, tureens, meat dishes, sauce boats etc./see illustration CONDITION REPORT: One shallow oval dish crazed and stained. One oval sauceboat stand crazed and stained. The circular comports all have staining which ranges from slight to bad. Teapot very crazed, stained and the tip of the spout is chipped. One oval tureen has stained star crack to base. One small ladle crudely repaired to stem. One small oval tureen has missing handle. Largest tureen has handle off at one end and cracked and crudely repaired cover. Otherwise general condition fair with various levels of scattered crazing.
