An oak canteen of silver plated cutlery, Elkington "Monarchy" pattern", twelve place settings, two drawers, circa 1930. NOTE - Some of the cutlery is still in its original tissue paper and has clearly barely been used. CONDITION REPORT: The oak cabinet is in first class condition with no significant damage, repair or restoration. As stated in the catalogue this is twelve place settings. There are 12 table knives, 12 dessert knives, 12 table forks, 12 dessert forks, a complete carving set, 12 teaspoons, 12 soup spoons, 12 dessert spoons, 6 serving spoons, 2 sauce ladles, large ladle and 12 further tea of coffee spoons. There are one of two apertures in the drawers that have nothing in them but this I believe normal for perhaps serviette rings, etc. Other than being a little dirty the cutlery is in extremely good condition and has clearly seen little if any use.
